Security & Life Integrations Inc

Installation Partner for National Security Integrators

Your customer has a site in Greenville, your project manager is in another time zone, and you need a crew that shows up prepared and leaves clean paperwork behind. We install for national security and fire alarm integrators across the Carolinas and Georgia, working to your scope, your standards and your closeout checklist.

Send a Scope or Work Order

Where We Install

We cover North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. That includes Charlotte, Raleigh, Columbia, Greenville, Greer, Savannah, Columbus, Athens, Roswell and Johns Creek.

A national account rarely stays in one metro. If a customer has a dozen locations across three states, one regional partner who can cover most of them saves you from recruiting a new subcontractor at every address.

We keep a short list of what we need to confirm before accepting a site: the scope, the device count, whether any fire alarm work is involved, and how soon the customer needs it done. Honest answers on those four points are what keep a schedule real.

What We Install

  • Access control: Readers, controllers, door hardware interfaces and cabling, programmed to the system the integrator specifies.

  • Cameras and recording: Fixed and varifocal cameras, PoE cabling, switches and recorders, aimed and verified before we leave.

  • Intrusion and panic: Panels, keypads, door contacts, motion detectors and panic devices on commercial sites.

  • Fire alarm: Panel, device and notification work under NC license SP.FA/LV.36697 with NICET Level III certification.

  • Intercom and entry: Video intercom and entry stations at doors, lobbies and gates.

  • Low-voltage cabling: Pathways, pulls, terminations and labeling for the systems above.

How to Send a Scope or Work Order

Send the work order the way your team normally issues it. What we need to quote or schedule: the site address and contact, the device list by location, the product models and any licensing or software you are supplying, floor plans or a door and camera schedule, your target install window, and whether the customer expects after-hours work.

Tell us who is on point for scheduling and who approves changes. On multi-site rollouts, a single spreadsheet of sites with the same columns for each location lets us plan routes and crews in one pass. We confirm receipt, flag missing details, and give you a schedule window before dispatching anyone.

Documentation and Closeout

  • Device schedule: A list of every installed device with location, label and, where you want it, serial or MAC address.

  • Photos: Before and after photos of each mounting location, taken per your standard.

  • Test results: Signal and function tests recorded, with fire alarm acceptance results where the scope includes them.

  • As-builts: Marked-up plans showing where devices and cable runs actually landed.

  • Punch list: Open items tracked to completion before we ask for sign-off, not left in an email thread.

  • Turnover notes: Door and camera names, credentials handed to the right owner, and any exceptions noted in writing.

Working Under Your Name and Your Process

We follow your safety rules, check-in procedures and ticketing process wherever we can. Customer-facing communication stays with you unless you tell us otherwise, and we raise site issues to your project manager before we take any action that changes the scope.

For work that involves fire alarm, we pull the permit and meet the fire official under our own credentials. Our fire alarm work carries NICET Level III certification and North Carolina license SP.FA/LV.36697. For South Carolina and Georgia fire alarm scope, we confirm licensing and permit requirements with you before accepting the job. If you also need a general contractor style subcontract, see our page for general contractors.

Multi-Site Rollouts and Scheduling

Rollouts fail on logistics more often than on technology. For a multi-site program we agree on a site order, a standard device list and a reporting rhythm before the first truck rolls. Pilot site first, then batches, with lessons from each site folded into the next.

Lead times on equipment, customer access windows and after-hours requirements all affect the calendar, so we ask about them early. If a site turns out to need electrical work, a door repair or a different mounting surface than the drawings showed, we send photos and a proposed fix to your project manager the same day. Sites that need a fire alarm panel replacement are scoped separately so the permit path is clear before work starts.

After the Install

Many integrators want the same installers available later for service calls on sites we built. We can take repair and service tickets on systems in our territory, and our fire alarm inspection and camera maintenance programs keep installed systems compliant and recording.

If you are weighing partners, read about who we are and the industries we work in. When you are ready to talk specifics, our contact form goes straight to the people who schedule installs.

I knew when I called and had a conversation with Donna that they would be a good fit to do business with. Donna and Zach was very friendly and responsive. I was switching from a different company and im so glad that I did. Zach came and installed a new security system for my business and was able to switch over my fire panel to meet county standards to stay in compliance. Zach was also able to switch my camera system to monitor. The transition process was smooth. Thank yall for helping us out at Brighter Minds Academy 2

Zach, John and Omar have been simply amazing. We had a difficult fight getting our business off the ground and Security & Life helped us in every way they could. They’ve been outstanding in every way. They designed and installed dozens of cameras, ethernet ports and access control systems correctly the first time, they always answer immediately when we call and any issue we have is resolved almost immediately. We will never work with anyone else for security, fire or low voltage because you simply cannot improve on perfection.
